Hey all,
Im in the early stages of building my cx bike and was going to go Dura Ace Di2.. since the new 9150 has come out, Im thinking now I may as well just put 9150 derailleur/shifters on my Tarmac, and pull the derailleurs from my Tarmac for the CX bike..

So the question(s) are..

1) Besides the new shifters/derailleurs do I need anything else (ie do my current j boxes, battery all work, so no need to rewire, just plug in)
2) Are the old casettes compatible.. I like my 11-23 block here in flat land dull and boring.. I have a few of these blocks and noticed that combo is not available in the new blocks
3) Is the new chain compatible with "old" blocks

Thanks in advance

Old battery BTR-2 will work but if you want synchro shifting and to add WU-111 to get BLE connection you'll need BT-DN110
Scott Foil
Shimano 9150
Shimano FCR-9100-P
Shimano C60 tubulars

firmware update for all parts.

i would check chain stretch. mine works best if less than .5 stretch.
i'm using CS-9000 cassette, HG-901 chain, Praxis rings for my drive train. all works without issue.
9150 shifters, 9150 derailleurs even if i didn't need them. shifters are a major improvement, although some users may not agree with me.

- Parlee Altum + DA9150 + Enve SES 4.5 carbon hubs
- Parlee ESX + DA9150 + THM SRM PM + Enve SES 6.7 CK hubs
- Independent Fabrication Ti FLW + DA9100 + Enve 3.4 CK hubs

I'm not all that interested in synchro shift either. Good luck with everything!
