Daytime Rear Light Recommendation

I have Bontrager Flare R and have been very happy with it. I had previously used a Serfas Thunder Blast but like the Flare R better -- brighter, more compact. But this Lupine Rotlicht looks pretty cool. It's 2x the price of the Flare R. For the 2x it's significantly brighter and the smart features look interesting. I might give it a try.

+1 for the Bontrager Flare R. I had a few riders pull up beside me and comment that they saw the light over a kilometer away during the day.

You could give Dinotte a try. A bit on the heavy side, but awesome quality!

Please report back with how you like it. I have a Dinotte Quad Flash, got it mostly for it's all day battery life but always wondered how it compares with the Lupine.

Another for the Flare R, simple and effective. Been very robust for me too, lots of rain and wheel spray.

Moon X Shield has by far the most bang for buck

I've owned stacks including the LUpine Rotlicht (very good for the braking function), but
the Moon is brighter than all of them

It's something else tbh

Exposure TraceR. Brilliant light. Used it most rides since last autumn and it's been faultless and very bright and easy to adjust run/intensity.

I've had a Moon Shield fail in the past due to water ingress. They did replace it under warranty though.

My recommendations from personal experience are Knog Blinder Mob Kid Grid or Exposure Blaze.

I just purchased the Bontrager Flare R with a mount for my helmet, a great light, I now have a light on both my seat post and helmet, can't do enough to be seen, safety first!

I second the Knog choice, especially the BLINDER MOB V MR CHIPS model - https://www.knog.com.au/blinder-mob-v-mr-chips.html - super light, USB rechargeable, many mounting options and lasts for few hours.

Yeah, I've got two but to fair haven't ridden then or any others that much in rain

The Moon really is very very bright though. There is actually a test somewhere online in which it stomps all over pretty much every other rear light for brightness
