Thank you very much.mrlobber wrote:I'd suggest that due to the lack of brake bridge, the R5 Disc might be microscopically more comfortable.
However, that's definitely nothing you would personally able to distinguish between two similarly equipped R5's with similar wheels (rim vs disc, of course) and tyres.

Thank you very much!
I need a 54, but the stem it's too short, I need a 120mm, also the stems are available separately?
Unfortunately, Cervelo uses the R.A.T. axle system, therefore, you do not have any aftermarket (lighter) option, definitely not for the front axle.
For the rear, you can get hold of a different RD hanger, and that way, convert to a threaded thru axle, which opens options such as this one:

Minimum bike categories required in the stable:
Aero bike | GC bike | GC rim bike | Climbing bike | Climbing rim bike | Classics bike | Gravel bike | TT bike | Indoors bike

I need to know the axle dimensions, because I'm planning to build a wheelset for my new bike and need this information for choose the best hubs.mrlobber wrote:Unfortunately, Cervelo uses the R.A.T. axle system, therefore, you do not have any aftermarket (lighter) option, definitely not for the front axle.

Frame fit is determined by the Stack and Reach these days.
Brands don't post the Top tube and Seat tube lengths anymore...

Actually many brands do. Thanks for your random postings trying to get a Starbike discount, see you in 2 weeks if you actually want to contribute to the forum.moldman wrote:Frame fit is determined by the Stack and Reach these days.

The 54 is the perfect size for me.moldman wrote:Frame fit is determined by the Stack and Reach these days.

There isn't any Cervelo local dealer near my city, so I want to compare the R5 frame with the frame of my bike.
I don't like the short seat post like Giant TCR or Rose X-Lite.
Has anyone managed to use RAT axles to mount their bike to a worstand where you use the axle to mount it. I have the Tacx spider workstand and the RAT axle doesn't seem long enough to secure the bike properly, I think it's more to do with the workstand adapters rather than the axle. I actually like the convenience of the RAT system but if I can't mount my bike to get it cleaned properly then I'll have to swap to Robert Axle project axles
