Does anyone have experience with tightening an asian carbon seatpost clamp. My seatpost is always slipping regardless how much i tighten it. If i tighten anymore I feel it might snap. I bike frame is carbon and seatpost is alloy.

Are Asian seatpost clamps any different from those of other ethnicities?

I'm assuming he means Russian clamps. No, maybe Indian. Or Turkish, yeah Turkish. That's got to be it.

Check the actual size of the seatpost, I ordered a 27.2 seatpost from asia that came in something like 26.8.

anyway, yes on carbon paste and check the spec. and if it doesn't work, go back to the original seatpost clamp :)
