Seriously almost everything you wrote is wrong but it's losing time replying to your post...

I currently ride a 2013 SuperSix Evo (non-himod). For the frame my list of priorities (in order) are: weight, comfort, and stiffness. Groupset will either be Dura-Ace Di2 or Sram Etap.

Here is my list so far:

Focus Izalco Max Disc
-Lightest disc road frameset I can find so far. The team version looks really nice. Seems to get good reviews but not sure about the stiffness.

Cannondale SuperSix Evo Disc
-I've read the comfort aspect of the frame has only improved in the latest iteration.

Canyon Ultimate CF SLC Disc
-Not available in the US until late summer/fall so most likely beyond the timeframe I'm looking to buy. :(

Giant TCR Advanced SL
-I test rode the non-isp version for a week. I was surprised how harsh riding it was (compared to my SS).

Specialized S-Works Tarmac Disc
-Haven't considered this too much, proprietary rear wheel is a bummer.

What other bikes would you toss into the mix?

Aero is beneficial but not a priority for me. I put quite a few miles on my SuperSix and hope to do the same with this next bike.

I'm riding a 2016 Focus Izalco Disc, the blue Dura Ace/FSA bike.

Really enjoying it.

Weight was initially 7.5kg minus pedals, I've "added lightness", no massive cost so far and it's 7.3kg including pedals.

Rides well, I prefer it to my last bike a BMC TMR I used to ride,
It's on a par with the best bike I've owned, Scott Foil...maybe I've just not ridden enough bikes?

I ticks all the boxes

One of the Best points is the RAT through axles...so simple and easy to change a wheel...brakes always in line

What about an Allied Allroad? I have no personal experience with it, but I like the story the company is crafting. Guess we'll see.

^Local LBS around me is a dealer for them. One of the employees rides an early rim-brake model and loves it.

I am contemplating to go for a Tarmac Disc 2018 as my rain bike. But only if the color is good and the availability is ok.

To me the Giant are all very good bikes! However they don’t belong to the category “premium” like Colnago, Pinarello, BMC etc....
Pricewise they are of course better than these premium bikes.
