Fingers crossed that Campy releases a wider cassette with lower gearing! A 11-36 would be ideal if the medium cage HO derailleur could run it!

Why? Are you building a mountain bike?

It's not really a problem, Shimano already makes these cassettes. Just buy a Shimano body and you're good to go. The price of the body is an investment that pays out from the first cassette onwards...

Yep, that's what I ended up doing. H11 is great btw. Just one short ride in, but the shifting with my disc bike is noticeable better than my prior chorus set up was. So there chainline concerns must of been valid from what I can tell. Also, the brakes are amazing! No squeals. and honestly I don't even notice the size difference for the hydo shifters.

More soon.

What do you mean by this? Are you running 160mm Front 140 mm Discs or are you referring to something in the caliper?

Sorry for the confusion, I meant the added size of the hydro shifters.

Not sure if it has been mentioned, but there are no plans in the works for Chorus V3 EPS. Got that info directly from Campy.

Got it - Thanks

Only one ride on campy discs so far but this is really nice and night and day compared to the shimano equivalent. Feels like a real road caliper, modulates really well, is completely silent. The shifters feel the same as their non disc equivalent.

Gravel bike. I'm gonna try it soon enough with a shimano freewheel. Probably won't work, but I have to try!

Don't see any reason why it wouldn't work...

I ride Shamal on my Dogma most of the time. But for climbing-holidays I use DA c24 wheels with a 11-32 mounted. Works perfect.

Is the difference between Shamal and C24 really so pronounced? The C24's are ~100g lighter, but are still 15mm internal width. Looking at rim/spoke/hub design, I'd think the Shamals would be stiffer (and stronger) overall and would also have the advantage of handling better on the descent.

The reason is more easy ;-)
Shamal = campy body
C24 = shimano body. I had the c24's from an older bike I sold, so I use it with a 105 11-32 sprocket.
For easier climbing trips I use the Shamals with 13-29.
