I'll add a third yes to new Pedals - They don't have to be any lighter, the same is fine - but Carbon Bodies and USB or CULT Bearings - not that Ceramic Bearings are really needed in Pedals but Why not? My OCD dictates that it's weird not to have them all bearings ceramic! I'm all Ceramic in my latest bike (including the Headset) and it bugs me the pedals aren't ceramic - although I know the performance benefit is miniscule.

I'm a fan of DA pedals and run them on all my bikes - Campy please update yours!

Yes, the medium cage versions will work with 11-32, CH, RE and SR.
At this stage there is no medium cage option in CH or RE / SR EPS.
There is a single, unified medium cage for the three mechanical derailleurs in alloy. The standard cages are unchanged.
As previously, there is no cross-compatibility with Potenza H11 versions.
All the Hydraulic Optimised (HO & H11) RDs have some other changes too, designed to allow them to work better with the revised chainline inherent in a QR135 / HH142 mm back end but are fully reverse-compatible with non-disc groups.

Graeme - so basically Campy is doing what I did - they took the Alloy Medium Cage from Potenza and are bolting it to CH, RE and SR?

It works great for me, better shifting on an 11-32 Potenza cassette then with Short Cage on an 11-27. It looks straighter than the built in twist on the Short Cage.

Are they going to make a lighter 11-32 Cassette in SR or Record?

Campagnolo HO (Hydraulic Optimised)... is this the new default standard for 2018, ie, you would use this for non Hydraulic bikes also? or you would use the 2015 models still for rim brakes?

according to Campy 2018 price list they are only offering mechanical CH/R/SR HO model rear derailleurs, so in effect, HO == updated 2018 model for all applications?

Looking at new Campag stuff, there's some detailed stuff in this recent patent about 12 speed chains and cassettes: http://www.freshpatents.com/-dt20170518 ... 138439.php

Centaur 11 stuff now available at Pro Bike Kit, I assume the other big UK e-tailers are probably not too far off either.
