Best Second-Hand frameset under $1200.

I'm building up a backup bike. I'm looking for the best second-hand frameset for under $1200. It can also be new as long as it is at or under $1200. I'm not a lightweight (6-2, 200lbs). I was looking at the Specialized Allen DSW frameset. Thoughts?

That's a pretty large budget. I would think that you could get carbon fiber frames from all the major brand names second hand within that range. (Trek, Cannondale, Specialized, Giant etc.)

Allez is a great choice. Also LOTS of love for the CAAD series.

There seem to be a lot of lightly used BH aero road frames in the Austin area. Last time I checked, about a year ago.

I really love Specialized but if you're looking at aluminum CAAD12 should be at the top of your list along with Allez Sprint. And you can get a complete bike in that price range.

I bet you can get as top second hand carbon frame from Wilier, Merida, Felt, Fuji, Orbea etc. for less than 1200.

I would suggest you the carbon fiber frames with that much of budget.
