I've experience similar case on my bike Derosa King and replacement frameset cover warrantt.

Doesn't anyone bother reading anymore? OP says it's been replaced in the first post, yet everyone still advises they get it replaced

A hole like this is a sign of poor manufacturing, I'd be worried about voids or other more dangerous defects that may not be visible to the naked eye. If they let you keep the frame send it over to this guy https://www.instagram.com/luescher_teknik/ has a really cool Instagram page where he uncovers defects in frames and components.

The OP started this topic and at the same time decided to contact Colnago. Soon after starting he updated his first post already.
(a matter of only some hours, I think) When he first had contacted Colnago and then patiently waited on respons, this topic never had existed.

People here talk about poor quality control. Well Im not convinced its a manufacturing flaw. It also could be caused by the impact of a tool or other object, during assemblage or transport etc, in the store or by himself. More than likely its only a cosmetic thing, no reason to believe it weakens the strenght of the frame. Most bikes have many imperfections under the final carbon (finishing)layer.People have no idea . . . .

Looks like a manufacturing flaw to me, no signs on the surface of an impact. Voids, wrinkles and porosity have a significant effect on the strength of the composite, air is not very strong.

Many of these voids and wrinkles etc present themselves after some use, usually just after the warranty has expired

You are correct with your last statement however
