On my current bike I have to go down 0.5cm in reach, which I can't do with a stem, does anyone know a bar that has 75mm reach and a similar shape as the zipp sl-80? the specialized expert compact looks to fit the bill..
I also use Zipp Sl-80 and really like the long drop section. The only problem i have, which i can not solve is transition in the hoods. I have a small bump there, which make me uncomfortable after some riding. Im using it with Campagnolo, and to me look like maybe its not perfect match each other. Do u have the same bump? And what groupset do u use?
I also have ur question, and probably will try Deda Zero 100 next
p.s if u like to shorten the reach, maybe to put ur saddle a bit forward, and to compensate that raising in same time few mm?
I use both campagnolo (2015 chorus) and shimano levers (2 different bikes).
I don't have a big bump on the campa levers, I did however mount the levers a bit higher on the bar so they point upward very slightly. This position works well for me and the transition is smooth to the hoods.
Can u please post some pictures to check how it look like in ur case?
Thanks a lot
