A few weeks back, my local shop had a kit release party night. They had a bunch of awesome bikes tthat they've built over the last year on display and of course a bunch of bikes for sale as well. Toward the end of the night, a friend and I were looking at the teal/black expert that they had hanging up towards the ceiling of the store. At that point in time, my friend was debating doing exactly what you're gonna do, buy and strip it. We were all standing around looking at the bike, guessing what it weighed, stock. We all placed our bets and one of the shop mechanics finally puled it down and weighed it. Most of the bets were in the 17.0 pound range. If I recall correctly, I think it was 16.4 pounds in a size 54. That was stock build, no pedals, no bottle cages. I thought that was pretty darn light considering those wheels are probably pretty hefty and it's an Ultegra mechanical build.
That's good news, I should be able to get close to 15lbs with aluminum wheels then. Will lose some weight from the saddle and cockpit too.

Setup will probably change a little bit. Stem is correct height, but I have to check first. Decals on Fulcrum wheels are waterslide decals. Very thin. Probably removable with Microscale Microsol if the decals are not beneath clear coat. I need confirmation about this. I like the grey decals on the wheels but the red ones are probably a little bit too big. I will also check the weight of the bike with my Lightweight Meilenstein C wheelset. I will make pictures. Tomorrow I will test the bike. ;-)

Ciao

Gen 3 eeBrakes were on closeout on Fairwheel, so snagged a set for the Expert build, bike is coming Tuesday but probably won't get it finished until the weekend pending parts arriving. Will post bare frame weights once I get it broken down.

Anyone knows which BB from ceramic speed I must buy for the Shimano crankset?
- BB30 Shimano Road
- PF30 OSBB Shimano Road

If I look at the bikes from quick-step then I see adapters that looks more like the BB30 adapters then the PF30 adapters

I am pretty sure that PF30 is wrong version. The right one is BB30 version.

OSBB information: https://www.kogel.cc/blogs/kbba/special ... -explained

And yes, I have S-Works Tarmac disc SL6 and just installed Praxis Works GXP conversion bottom bracket BB30 version.
