Might need a straight post too. How long did you have to wait for delivery and how much did it cost? Ta

Strangely the SA on a size 52 was steeper than stated and I was able to get away with a setback post while only having 46mm setback with a 717 saddle height. Its the only bike I've been able to get that far forward without a straight post, in fact I'm close to centered on the rails if not behind center. I believe that they were due in July when I asked but I didn't see the price.
Cheers

Just picked up a new Ultralight frameset , 780g for the 54 frame with all attachments so about the best I can expect from everyones experience on the forum.
A couple of questions though:
1. I don't have a crown race for the fork headset in the kit. Is it missing or is the lower bearing resting on the carbon fork direct?
The latter does not look right to me!
2. Also I didn't get the ceramic speed BB cups/ adaptors to use a dura ace crank, are they supposed to be supplied with the frameset?
I may just get a C-Bear BB30 anyway but wanted to check with everyone else first.
Thanks.

Specialized has just posted new 2019 frame colors on its site, including a gray-blue \ red palate someone else had asked about here.

.. but I learned at a LBS today that the colors on the "consumer" site are wrong. At least one (red \ yellow) does not exist on the dealer order site. On the other hand, there are at least two rim brake frame choices that are not on the conusmer site: Bora-Hansgrohe and Quick Step. (Oddly enough, they are on the consumer site, but as disc brake frames).Stendhal wrote: ↑Tue Sep 11, 2018 6:50 amSpecialized has just posted new 2019 frame colors on its site, including a gray-blue \ red palate someone else had asked about here.

HJello,
Anybody lost the rubber plug under the Bottom bracket? I have got mine but it will not stay firm on it's place anymore. I taped it to the frame but this is not the nicest solution.

Yep, same problem - the rubber cover provided doesn't really inspire any confidence at all. Like you, I have it held in place with tape.

The Red/Yellow is on the dealer site, I checked on Monday. I did not see any Bora or QS bikes though (work at a LBS)Stendhal wrote: ↑Sat Sep 15, 2018 6:06 am.. but I learned at a LBS today that the colors on the "consumer" site are wrong. Got a warranty SL6 frame when the FD hanger cracked off my SL4 S-works. Just picked it up yesterday from swapping all the parts over, quite a few new parts on this build as well. I originally bought an SL3 Tarmac, got a warranty SL4, and now a warranty SL6, so most of the parts are original to the SL3. Full rideable build was 15.6 lbs with bottle cages, pedals, and speed/cadence sensor, but no computer mount since the ones I had were on other bikes. With a nice set of carbon clinchers, this would easily be a sub 15 lb bike.
SL6 S-works frame, 56cm
S-works seatpost
OG Sram Red 10spd with newer Yaw FD
S-works crank with 52-36 Praxis rings
Ultegra 6800 11-28 cassette
KMC X10SL chain
TRP T980 DM brakes
Mavic Cosmic Carbone SLR exalith wheels (heavy)
Continental GP 4 season Black Series tires, 25c
S-works 80 or 90mm stem
3T Egronova carbon bars
Shimano 105 carbon pedals
Spesh plastic bottle cages
Sram Slickwires cables
Profile designs camo cork tape
PS: This bike will soon be for sale if anyone is interested. I bought a Canyon Aeroad Disc while the Spesh warranty people were d*cking me around.
PPS: Pics of my original SL3 lightweight that I bought in 2011. I think that bike was 14.1 lbs when purchases with the 202 tubulars, crazy light back then.

Thank you, this is VERY helpful!!! That's really the one I want. I checked again at the same shop today; the red-yellow one was there for disc (not onthe consumer site), but not for rim mount. Your message confirms the conclusion I reached: check out a different local Specialized dealer! (It's a small chain so it may have more access.) Today, the shop I visited did not have a Bora rim model, but did have Quick Step 2018 in rim. Quick Step 2019 supposedly will be released for disc per the consumer site, but naturally there is no picture yet -- Quick Step isn't going to be Quick Step in 2019, so the team does not yet have a frame design.Tpb10505 wrote: ↑Thu Sep 20, 2018 3:21 amThe Red/Yellow is on the dealer site, I checked on Monday. I hear you! I went to a different shop yesterday and confirmed that the consumer site does not have the same options as the dealer site. The dealer site also has some TBAs (such as Quick Step 2019 in rim, which is scheduled for January 2019).
tpb1050, the dealer site at LBS #2 did have red \ yellow, but only in disc. As you work in an LBS, could it be the case that options vary depending on locations in the USA? (As I live in the same county as Specialized, you'd think we'd have the best options here! LBS #2, which has good service, is checking with headquarters. Better than LBS #1, who tried to talk me out of my intended purchase.)
