just purchased the SL6 frame, does anyone know which C-bear BB would fit for a Sram Red ETAP crankset?

my previous frame is the Felt AR1
I have the same set up, it is the BB30 to GXP adapter
Unless you have the Red BB30 already

Now built up, but need to trim the headtube and seattube.

6.12kg as is with garmin mount, bottle cage, etc. ready to ride. Could easily shed some weight with lighter wheels (Bora tubs), 50/34 instead of 52/36 and 11-25 i/o 11-28 cassette.
Was going to go down the THM Clavicula route, but decided it wasn´t worth it as they have a ´special´BB.

The seat post clamp does not fit AX Lightness rails properly…..

i thought the C-bear BB's dont require an adaptor?
my SRAM red cranks are 24mm i believe, it was a stock part on my 2016 Felt AR1 build.

You are Correct, I apologize for my poor terminology.
It is the BB30 bracket that fits (adapts to) a 24 or GXP crank
It does not need a separate adapter
The cbear site is fantastic; just use the bracket finder or the chart, you’ll find it

No.. you were correct. CBear is an adapter. It adapts a BB30 to 24mm crank.

To the OP, also check out PraxisWorks. Similar to C-Bear, but IMO better.

Well, you would know, you’re a star contributor!

Actually I switched from the Praxis to the cbear. Only 100 miles on the latter to date, but happy so far. Subjectively and perhaps as a placebo, with ceramic bearings, it spins better. Objectively, 53 g weight savings at a cost delta of well under $50

Was your Praxis ceramic? I'm guessing not. I've got both the regular and ceramic bearing Praxis adapters in my bikes and I can feel a difference too. I haven't ever tried C-Bear. They both screw together, but I like the fact that the Praxis is a collet design that expands as you screw the two sides together.

My apologies if this has already been posted, but does anyone have the part number for the direct mount rear derailleur hanger? I've seen the one for the disc brake version, but don't recall seeing one for the rim brake version.

Thx

If your dealer gave you the owners manual the part number is listed in fine print at the beginning

Part number is S18260004 - “HGR MY18 TARMAC DER HANGER RIM BRAKE (SHIMANO DIRECT MOUNT)”

I thought this was such a cool paint scheme and I think pretty rare. Originally designed for Kittel when he was on Quickstep and then he was off the team pretty quickly after it came out. I don't think they sold many in this colorway. Great looking bike... the nose of that saddle, though, looks sooooo long.

Been looking at a cheaper Tarmac for the Mrs, can get good deals on the Tarmac Comp Sagan Disc and Tarmac Expert Rim. Essentially the same price.

Sagan Comp disc weighs 8.1kg, which seems reasonable for a disc bike with I'm assuming a heavy paint job and the lower grade carbon frameset, does anyone know the weight of the Tarmac Expert? I'd guess maybe 7.5 with the better frame and lighter wheels?

Just weighing up her options really, disc isn't a neccessity as it would be a summer bike. I'm leaning towards the Expert due to the better frameset.

Can I ask if this a new frame or pre-loved?! Unlike the previous Tarmac models (SL5 etc) my SL6 came without the BB installed and fitting the electronic cables was relatively handy. Now I was installing EPS but without the bb I would imagine Di2 would be equally as straightforward.
I bought the frame 2nd hand, but it's only 6 months old.

Is the BB different from the SL5 then? The SL5 just has bearings pressed into the shell, I thought the SL6 was the same. In any case there is a sleeve that fills most of the BB area......

Interested to hear from anyone using the Dfly, as to my mind, it won't fit in the BB like it did on the SL5. Doesn't leave many places to put it.....
