930g with cage bolts, cable guides, mechanical stops and BB guide, and hanger. Hoping to build up Thursday as I'll be racing tomorrow.
Very nice. I am jealous. My s-works, also size 52 weighs 990g w/ hanger, cage bolts, cable guides.

There was a post or two earlier about weighing with the scale clamped like you have it throwing off weights. I'd see if you can get a weight with the scale hanging if you haven't built it already. Still I'm glad the weight between the S-Works and Expert isn't much, makes me feel better about going for the lower level frame.

Yes I'd seen that. I did weigh it hanging with the string and also balanced the frame on the tabletop scale with the same result, unfortunately. I think it's one of if not the heaviest sl6 frames I've seen on here...maybe the more intricate paint with the camo?

In any case, I'm really liking how it rides and how it looks so I'll try not to worry about it!

That does seem to be pretty heavy, my gloss silver in a 56 is only 817g, I've weighed Expert frames at less than that so would be very surprised if it actually weighs that much!

You should tell this your dealer or Specialized directly - for that price it's just too far from the claimed weight. Maybe you can make them lower the price a bit.

And does the paint feel smooth or do you feel the different layers?

Even in the disc thread there's a 52cm with 820g:

Anyone else have issues with their SL6 seatpost slipping? Torqued using Park Tool wrench and Morgan Blue paste applied - still f*ckin' slipping!!

Which paste did you use? I've been using Morgan Blue and it was pretty much useless.

Don’t use Morgan Blue Aquaproof Paste to prevent seatpost slippage. Use a gritty carbon paste like Tacx Assembly Compound, the “New and Improved” version. It is grey in color and very gritty.

It's not the Aquaproof Paste, it's the Assembly Paste.

Smoothly... that's a cool color scheme and not available in the US. To be honest, I'm kind of surprised they actually made it for production. That's the Marcel Kittle custom design and they had it for the announcement, but with him moving to Katusha and Canyon, I'm surprised they kept it for a production option.

Ok, my mistake... I didn't know they even made a carbon assembly paste. Can't help you in that case.... perhaps it's a fit/tolerance issue?
Or, if it's not the real "gritty" type of assembly paste, perhaps some of that might work better. Just a thought.

You may well be correct. I'm thinking the Assembly Paste doesn't do what it says on the tin! Something with "true grit" may be the answer.
