for me, I am not a big fan of f8, because 65.1 was so great, but I think f10's design is much better.

Not much difference between F10 and F8.
Maybe good time to buy second hand F8

As of this time the F8 is still very much competitive and the F10 little subtle changes is not very impressive at all.

I recently broke my F8 in a minor fall. I'm expecting I'll be shopping for a replacement frame hopefully in the next couple of days. My LBS tells me he is going to see if he can get the F10 for the same price. If so l guess I'd be a mug not to grab one. The extra space for 25mm tyres is desirable the other improvements...... meh

I just don't get Pinarello. Why do they make F10 only with rim brakes and not even clearance for 28mm tires?
Isn't this bike ment to handle a Paris Roubaix race?

Or do they need to use K8(-S) for that?

I'm living and cycling in Italy and pretty much anything bigger 25mm tires are non existent. They haven't really caught up to that fad since they are fast on 23-24mm tires.

In some way he is right. In this forum there is a lot of knowledge and people are willing to try different things. Here we have early adopters. Then the masses have just moved or are still moving from 23mm to 25mm tyres. If you are only browsing in this site you end up in a bubble where everybody has wide tires, wide rims, tubeless etc but that is not the case with masses.

My F8 has plenty of clearance for 25mm tires.

It's all downhill from here, except for the uphills.

I understand what you say, but it's not my point point here.
I mean since Pina is or have in some way made people believe they make a frame which is some super bike.
It should be usable for people running alot more shitty roads than you and your fellows do.

Further i don't get why the boss says they don't believe people need disc brakes.
That is so ridiculous. He wants to sell bikes and that is why they re-invent themselves so often.
It's no-one who would be estranged over F10 disc coming next year.
They just need to sell F8 disc first so people will urge for F10 disc later on.

Agreed. My F8 also has penty of clearance for 25mm tires.

Not sure why anyone would mention there isn't enough clearance for 25mm tire :noidea:

Hmm, not sure what your frame size is but mine is a 50 and clearance between the top of the rear tyre and the brake bridge is damn close. I have picked up a stone [small] and had the rear wheel actually lock up. all other spots to front and rear wheel have heaps of clearance, it is only to the rear brake bridge and caliper.

My F8 is a size 51.5 and I am using Campagnolo Super Record single pivot rear brake caliper.
Here is a photograph with a 25mm Vredestein Fortezza Senso mounted to a Bora One 35 clincher rim.

Yep, would love that much clearance. I have somewhere between 1 and 3mm I would guess. If I get a chance will slip the wheel back in and upload an image for comparison sake. The frame is currently stripped down with another F8 size 50 on it's way, minor fall more than crash but we have landed hard and the seat stay has landed on maybe the edge of the sole of my shoe and it's cracked. Fortunately I am insured for this crap. An F10 is at least 2 months away here so not going to wait.

I'm assuming you guys are saying that I said 25mm doesn't fit? What I meant from my statement above was that many cyclist here in Italy do not use 25mm even when our roads are covered with holes and such.
