Just for the record, I managed to order a pair of R8070 shift levers and brakes from bike24.
Noticed they were in stock at 17:00 and put in an order, checked again later that same day and they were marked as not in stock. Had them delivered last week and am waiting to put them on my new build later this week. Can't wait!

The 8020 shifters will be in my hands on Monday with 8070 calipers. According to shimano, shifters should be at 554g. Hope the weight will be spot on and not like 50g more or something, that wouldn't be nice

Anyone have a good website to order the 8050 groupset on? Only ones i can find are Merlin cycles and on aliexpress.
Should I just buy the individual components instead?

why not buy parts separately?
ahah, my thoughts exactly
Ive added up the cost of the entire groupset, and its more than the entire groupset on eurobikeparts, which is the cheapest groupset price I've found. I just thought the groupset as a whole may be discounted vs buying all the parts individually.

What about Starbike who so kindly host the Weenies Forum we all love to spend time on? They are showing the R8050 RD, FD and STI in stock.
