Deda Superleggera RS is specified as -8, but it has a low stack height (34mm) that makes it low.
(Note, it's specified 36mm but true stack height is 34mm)
It's stiffer than Extralite and Rotor S3X.

Have just weighed my spare Pro PLT stems for you. 154g and 146g for 140mm and 130mm lengths respectively.
These arene't the latest models, although I doubt they've changed in terms of construction, just the graphics.
EDIT
I've just seen the face plate is now one piece on the latest models.

From my personal experience I would definitely not say that Superleggera RS is stiff. When my friend tried to heavily twist bars i could see the stem twisting, i was shocked..kalloy uno stem is lighter (with titanium bolts) and stiffer.wheelsONfire wrote: ↑Sat Dec 15, 2018 11:47 amDeda Superleggera RS is specified as -8, but it has a low stack height (34mm) that makes it low.

If Extralite is even softer, then I can not recommend it..
To be honest my setup is the worst for stiffness, almost 3cm of spacers and 3t ergonova ltd bars, but the Deda stem was really flexy.

Are you sure it isn't his handlebars?
I don't see why you twist his bars, how often does he twist them while riding?
A bit limited choices when it comes to light weight stems and stiffness.
If you look for stiffness in spades you'll get some serious weight to.

Bars probably too, but obviously the stem. It was twisting in the body, looked scary, i didn't expect something like this..wheelsONfire wrote: ↑Sun Dec 16, 2018 3:10 amAre you sure it isn't his handlebars?

It was just a test, you grab bottom of handlebar and push them and twist as you can..looking from side the ther person can really see how it moves..there are differences.

Your buddy should probably quit going WW and move over to more sturdy stuff.
Looking at the lighest stem in this case, is not smart at all (he should most likely change handlebar to for your kind of test).
SR has a quit narrow handlebar clamp, i use mine with an alu bar (gravel).
The 3 problems i have experienced during my riding (gravel), is cracking the lower headset bearing.
Managed to get Ryde Trace 22 (650B) rims uneven during 2-3 weeks. Changed to DT Swiss XR 361 = problem solved)
Also chain jumped all the time, changing crankset with custom cnc spider (for wider chain line) solved this.
Never issues with handlebar or with stems, I ride some mtb tracks to.
I know more guys who have "issues" with WW stuff.
How long stem does he use?
Pro vibe sprint stem is the stiffest i have. I rode this with an alu bar on my gravel.
It's built like a tank, this stem is stiff, really stiff.
