Tubeless setup on Generation 1 Enve SES Clinchers

To put it on is not a problem, but will it hold tire in some extream condition - high speed turns with low angle inclination, some smaller pressure (now tubed I use 5/5.2 bars for 25mm and 74kg rider, for tubeless and gen2 ENVE site tells me 4.35-4.5)?

I don't untherstand that the gen2 ENVE site tells you 4.35-4.5 while the ENVE support told you that it's not possible

ENVE support tells that it's not possible to use the rims tubeless because of not suitable channel for tire

Btw, the Pro One 25mm need about 5/5,5 bars for 74kg rider.

First of all: pression tubeless may/can be 1 bar less then normal clinchers. That means no snake-bites, better confort, better grip.

Doesn't seem to out of the ballpark to me.

242 pound rider. 110kg Recommended pressure, with a lot of if ands buts.
25mm 116 psi
28mm 109 psi
32mm 94 psi
37mm 87 psi

I'd almost say the recommendations are a little on the high side. But nothing outrageous. I'm not convinced 10psi higher or lower than what you want matters.

OP, you'll be able to run tubeless on 1st gen ENVEs -- you may need a high volume air bladder to dump a bunch of air in at once to get them to seal but you'll be fine otherwise. The tire will be fine, hold air, without burping or anything like that down to about 50psi. I have hundreds of thousands of feet descending through all sorts of corners on a setup like this. Getting the tires on is a little bit more annoying than regular tubeless compatible as there is no channel to give in a bit for the beads but its still fine. You'll want to make sure you stretch your rim tape nice and tight and go bead to bead with the width of the rim tape. Stretching it nice and tight ensures you have a nice smooth surface for the beads to glide along when you inflate them. You'll need sealant of course, I recommend Orange Seal or Boyd's bubblegum sealant. If you find one segment of the bead sticking as you're trying to inflate, its likely because the tape isn't perfectly smooth.

It shouldn't be a problem, at all. I've converted half a dozen different wheelsets from different manufacturers (Zipp, Bontrager, H+ Sons, Reynolds), and never had an issue with rapid deflation, short of a puncture. Two recommendations that I'll make to my note above:

1. Apply tape to the entire rim bed, not just the middle. I think this helps to avoid air bubbles.

2. Prior to trying to seat the tire tubelessly, seat it the tire with a tube, first. In my experience, this will push the tape down, and push any air bubbles out, thereby making sure you have a good seal on the rim bed.

This is correct. As stated throughout this post, lots have had luck using Enve gen1 as a tubeless setup anyways.
