It will drop out regardless of the cog when you flip the derailleur back properly.

Yes, no problem. Enough clearance. All good.

I honestly can't see how it's the derailleur fouling on any bike if you move the body right back, It sits 10-15mm behind the hanger?

Is anyone with an R8050 front mech able to measure the height and depth from the clamp bolt for me? I can't get the etap front mech high enough on the ViAS to run a 53t Q-ring and am tempted to sell the Etap and put R8050 on it

Ok, so my new DA9100 is causing me a small problem.
When pushing hard on the pedals when mainly going up hill, in the small ring and first 3-4 cogs on the rear.
It sounds like the gears are skipping, from the rear, not loud or like its trying to change properly or anything like that, just makes a skipping, quiet trying to change noise only makes the noise every 2 pedal revolutions.
The whole groupset has cover 130miles, chain lubed, indexed 3 times now.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Luke

Is is the chain skipping on the sprockets or is it just a noise?
Second option could be just another case of a broken DA cassette carrier. Check it before it fails on you and leaves you without low gears in the worst possible moment.

It’s more the derailleur skipping, like it’s not quite indexed correctly, but it’s very minute,it’s every other pedal revolution. Checked the freehub, all working fine, and even replaced the pawls and springs.XCProMD wrote: ↑Thu Apr 05, 2018 10:51 pmIs is the chain skipping on the sprockets or is it just a noise?

The whole groupset has cover 130 dry moles, and I removed the cassette last night to check everything over.

Top 3 things I’d check:
1. Recheck adjustment
2. Hanger alignment
3. Cable friction and or basic setup like derailleur cable housings All seated and bottomed out in their stops etc.
Oh, and if there is any place on the frame, external or internal, that and exposed derailleur cable might be passing over and running against, make you run s piece of tubing in that section.

The rumour mill is back up. Apparently Shimano are breaking their product cycle and will be releasing 12spd dura ace sooner rather than later. Possibly next year (?). I speculate that the update will be similar to how SRAM went from 10 to 11spd - it will be a minor departure from whats currently available i.e. added cog, thinner chain, tweaked shifters/derailleurs

One can only hope that for 9150 it's as simple as selecting a 12speed option on eTube, but I doubt this will be the case.
