Ever since the news broke that BenoBikes had purchased AXLightness, I was curious to know what the meant for Axel. As it turns out he's going to be focusing on carbon fiber wheels. Have a look:

thanks for this. very interesting and i'm looking forward to what comes out of it. especially the 26 mm light ones! you see he is asking for applicants. wouldn't that be something!

It would be interesting to see what those wheels will cost!
Looking at costs of esoteric wheels, it's really getting too steep.

Kind of think he should have been focusing on tubeless aswell as tubular.

Sometimes the chip on the shoulder does not go away.

If indeed his fork did explode, maybe he just came out of a coma and was able to vent his frustration.

Thread may be 5 years old but my accident with his fork was over 10!!! Glad he went into insolvency. And I was not the only unlucky person at that time
