One of my cycling mates owns a Lightweight Meilenstein tubular wheelset. He wants to remove the existing Shimano 11 speed compatible freehub and replace it with a Campag version. Am I right in thinking Lightweight use DT Swiss internals, so what’s the correct procedure for freehub removal here? He’s ask me for help but I want to be sure of the correct removal method before delving head-long into an expensive wheelset! Any special tools required? Cheers.

I use a simpler way (I think.)
- Insert a 1.5-2 mm hex driver from the drive side
- Insert skewer from the non-drive side (it will obviously not go through the whole way. The hex driver will block its way.)
- While holding the hex driver, lightly tap the skewer with your palm from the other side.

That's all there is to it...
