I have the SL1.5 in a 54. I think it is a very capable and well riding bike. Geometry and fit is great, very stiff frame. The published stock weight is accurate.
Also with some tuning I have mine down about to 5.7kg with reynolds assault tubulars and the complete DA9000 group minus DA brakes - replaced with EE brakes. I think around 6.2 with the stock clincher wheels, which of themselves are actually quite nice. 22.5 width, tubeless compatible, aero spokes, something like 1440g.
If you get just the frame/fork and have a some money to throw at it, you could build it very light.

Thanks very much for the feedback, pavel. I have a combination of DA/Ultegra Di2 components and a set of Bora One 50 wheels sitting around. I'm a hefty rider at ~94kg. It's a tough decision between the SL and the Orbea Orca OMR framesets.
Here's my build on my Fuji.

Wow! Beautiful build! That's one of the lightest I've seen. That looks like the original seatpost binder. You could save some grams there, and you could probably loose a few more grams if you wanted to slam the stem.
Nicely done!

Rowdy- Thanks, I know I could drop a few more grams, but unfortunately I built it and go too busy to race so it hasn't been fitted yet.
mpulsiv- I can't lie, it's pretty great. I haven't ridden this bike, but my last bike was near the same weight, and was a riot to ride.

Sweet STI too!
Damn nice!
I'd love to see how this frame rides. The primary issue with the SL1 in small sizes was silly-big trail. They addressed that here. I'm sure they increased the vertical compliance as well but the SL1 was designed with comfort in mind back before that was trendy, and when given the designs of the time it came at a cost of useful stiffness.
