How's the braking on those Roval CLX 50's? Comparable to aluminum or a another brand of wheels?

Does anyone know what the stock wheels weight? Hoping to quantify the weight savings of upgrading to another midrange wheel like the Zonda C17.

Well damnit, this thread got me. I never thought I'd ride a Specialized but...

I'm now planning on a Superstar Sagan frame build. I'm just not sure if I'll hit my intended 16.5lbs target with a 5k budget (will be selling my current ride for 2k perhaps):

Size 49 frame ~ $1200
Zipp 303 clincher (heard it's 1625g, practicality sake I can't do tubular) ~ $1750
Power saddle Ti 211g (own)
thinking of a DA 9000 drivetrain unless I find a 9100 for cheap ~ $1000 for a complete used 9000?
either an S works aerofly bar or a 3T aerotundo/aeronova ~ $300
some lightweight stem, but I'd have to match it with whatever bar. Not trying to break the bank though ~ $150
Speedplay ti (own)
Maybe a new PM but I'll stick with 4iiii single sided ~ $350

$4750 less sale of old bike at $2k = $3000 give or take including labor and misc stuff like cables/brakepad

Seems like a lot of headache to me. I could probably cut some corners getting Ultegra or SRAM Force + get a small discount from my dealer but I'm not entirely sure here.

About me: love hammer fests, used to race but no longer do, very good flexibility. Not exactly a sprinter or a climber but I love climbing. Currently ride a Felt AR.

Had my Sagan Superstar Allez Sprint built up last week. A bit of a whirlwind build - only saw a photo of it online maybe two or three weeks ago!

Build Specs as follows:

- 54cm frame.
- Zipp Service Course SL Stem - 110mm
- Zipp SL70 Bars
- Force 22 Groupset
- Enve 4.5's laced to Ceramic Chris King hubs
- Duraace pedals
- Power Pro saddle (ti rails).

Built weight is 7.5kg, which I am more than happy with as it was never going to be a weight weenie. I intend to race it, and having a tough time rationalising carbon bars and stem. In addition, didn't want to throw too much $ at it (had the wheels already).

Jesus my bike is fat in comparison. Just over 8kg.

Waiting on a Sagan superstar frameset to arrive, does anyone know what ships with the frame? Just trying to sort out my bits and pieces for when it arrives. Will I need to order a headset or BB? Thanks.

I didn't get the Sagan, but mine came with both of those.

The "sweet pete" has been built as of last night!

Question, thinking of going away from rotor cranks (moved from other bike, look tired) to s works. Pros/cons of S works cranks? Suggestions?

Rainy here so pics when the sun peeks out.

Does the Sagan Superstar have the iridescent/rainbow look when the light hits it right? Can't tell on the Specialized site, which is odd if indeed it does
