By the way, here is my buddy. Haven't posted it yet. Sorry for the poor quality.

Originally bought the frameset back in 2018, fall, but completed the build only couple months ago.

Beautiful!
Is it an original colourway?

There's new frameset colors on the spec website. Abalone white and some purple.

Does anyone know if they changed the frame somehow or is it still the exact same model as last year?

- I decided to go with a 28mm outer/21mm inner, AR46. According to Shimano, 28mm seems to be the widest profile R8000 can accept without any issues.
- Can you tell me please a bit more about your Graphene Grooved braking surface? Do you like braking in dry conditions? How fast does the pads are worn out(or the approx mileage before being replaced) with graphene grooved surface? Would you recommend it mostly for dry conditions? Still trying to choose between the High TG and the Graphene Grooved :| .
Hi! I haven't rode many miles on the new wheels yet, so can't give much info about brakepad wearing. However the braking itself in dry conditions is very good. Haven't ridden them in wet so again, can't tell :noidea:

I have a Giant TCR disc brake which I use for all weather conditions

Has anyone ever had to deal with a seized seatpost on their Allez Sprint? I bought a used 2020 and the seatpost will not budge up or down. There was signs of sweat corrosion on the handlebar and even thru axles so I'm guessing that might be a problem for the seatpost?

If heard of using boiling water or WD40 but would love to hear if anyone else has first hand experience.

Does anyone have a pic of a Venge stem on an Allez Sprint?

Can anybody tell me please:
1) What is the max tire clearance for the rim brakes 2019 Allez Sprint? Can i put a 28mm(outer) width carbon rims + 28mm tires without a rubbing/clearance issues? I suppose it's gonna be 30mm or even 31mm at all. The plan is: GP5000 or some Pirellis P Zero, not sure yet.

2) Will the Ultegra R8000 brakes work with the 28mm carbon rims? I have never tried such a wide rims with them.

3) Has anybody used a LB AR46 and/or R45 rims on a Sprint? Any pics, feedbacks? Or would you recommend to go with an AR36/R35 options(still prefer the look of larger 46/45)?

Thank you.
-LB AR46 wheels with Hutchinson Fusion 5 performance tires in 28mm, setup tubeless
-Sram Red brakes.

I think this setup looks perfect, I'm a bit more partial to the 46mm than a 50mm. Plenty of tire clearance in the brakes and frame and a cushy ride to boot. The new brake pad contact patch doesn't really sit flush on the wide wheel, so they have to bed in a bit. Never had a problem with braking power (in the dry...).

Hi All, thought I'd share the updates I've made to my 2021 Allez Sprint Disc. I've added 40cm Prime Primavera Aero Bars, Ultegra rotors, Hunt Aerodynamicist 54's & wrapped in Pirelli P-Zero TLR 26mm tires.

So with summer officially here, does anyone have any idea what we should be expecting to see from the 2022 Allez? I've heard from my LBS that it will be more like a 'mini/alloy Tarmac', and Specialized told me via an online DM to 'expect a few changes to the Allez Sprint sometime this summer' when I asked about it. Anyone else with any insights on what to expect and when?

Hi Guys. New on this site. I've had a Allez Sprint for a year now (waiting for a Venge) but I'm now trading it for an Allez Sprint Disc. However I was thinking of fitting some mechanical calipers, but I have no idea on which mounting brackets I need. I've got some old Avid flat mounts calipers, but I'm considering these:

Have anyone else fitted mechanical calipers to theirs?

Sharing my 2019 Allez Sprint Disc, on SR11/H11 on Bora WTOs. Was looking for an alum bike and the livery just won me over. It's not a WW by any stretch but it definitely rides well.
