Quick question on Allez Sprint rimbrake version: Does the rear brake cable go in fully in the frame (external housing guided through the frame) or does the housing stop at the cable entry, inner cable in frame and then reconnect as with a, for example, Tarmac?

The cable outing can go all the way through on the lake sprint.

Has anyone heard of any rumors of specialized updating the allez sprint with fully internal cables?

So the Allez sprint and the cane creek EE brake set.

There’s a few people that is running them with the tiniest bit of clearance and some that can’t run the rear due to hitting the seat tube.

After 5 months of speaking to cane creek America and extra UK and tredz cycles, they’ve listened to me and sent me the parts out.

This is the short arm that comes with the direct mount short arm rear brake, they’ve never sent the part out, well at least not to someone in the uk.

This is the part number, if anyone else would like to order it, it’s expensive at £39 for a short arm lever but IMO it’s worth it.












Stripped down and swapped over.





This is fully pressed against the rim with a good few mm of clearance.



Over the moon I’ve got this sorted, it’s been a very very long process but 2021 is the year for enjoying rubber down.

where can I find the Tour aero test? I am very curious to see aero and stiffness data of Allez Sprint and the comparison with other bikes in that test.
I don´t mind if I´d have to pay few bucks for the access to the article.
