My Allez Sprint 2022 is currently being built up at the LBS. I am so happy that they received the Water Effect/Black colorway and not only the black one (not a fan of that, I already have a black Shiv and Tarmac).
- 11s Ultegra Di2 (because I still run Shimano 11s on all my bikes and being able to swap wheels is such a blessing)
- Enve SES Aero handlebar
- Tarmac SL7 stem incl. 3D-printed headset cover (thanks again for making the file available to us, the LBS owner was really impressed and just ordered 5 extra for future Allez builds)
- Enve 5.6 wheels
I will share some pictures once I receive the bike. Will also share pictures of the black frame if they receive it in time as I havent seen any pictures of that colorway on the internet yet.

I saw those. I am talking about the frameset-only "Black/Rocket Red". Looks like some satin black with gold details and a red stripe on the seatstay. When I searched for pictures of that a week ago I wasnt able to find any.

Change of front wheel? How does handling between them compare?

F**k me. What a $hit bike to work on.

Can't get a finger in the BB let alone a couple to fish out / guide any hoses / wires.

Took my about an hour just to route the rear brake hose and RD wire.

Fork is most definitely not a SL7 S-Works fork either. They come in at around 320-340 cut. This was 392 once cut down to size.

Interesting to hear about the fork weight. I should have weighed mine. It would be unfortunate if its not the same Tarmac fork.

I agree about the cable routing. I redid my rear brake housing and it was a real pain to get around the BB.

Did you start from the head tube down or from the rear end up? I used a pick to help and started at the head tube after failing at starting from the rear end. But will make sure to reuse the existing housing as a pull through guide next time.

The rear brake caliper is also a pain to bleed (for the stock 105 calipers). There's maybe 2-3mm of space to turn the wrench to open the bleed valve, at least with my thicker park tool. I was going to wait to upgrade calipers but with the difficult bleed process I may upgrade sooner (easier bleed, lighter, stronger, more clearance)

Just undo a calliper mounting bolt and angle the calliper into the frame. Always used this method when clearance is an issue.

The weight is a bit hilarious NGL. Frame heavier than even a caad 5 or possibly 3. Approaching 1900g medium frameset. I'm sure it rides good but dang.

These are made for flat crit races. On those, you could add an extra 1kg to the final build and your end result (speed) would be the same.

Fork weight sounds right for an SL7 Pro/Expert. Mine was 416g uncut.
