Here is the link to my file for the headset cap to transition from the round headset to the SL7 stem spacers on the 2022 Allez Sprint. Again, it's got room for improvement, but it's close enough for me, and after 80 miles of riding over crappy rust belt roads, I took everything apart and saw no damage or deformation.

Like I said, I have no intentions to sell/ship any of these but if you want one there are services online that can print it for you and there is a good chance you have some options available locally.

Appreciate it! Between this, finding a tarmac stem cable clamp, SL7 spacers, and SL7 top cap cover should all really clean up the integrated look.

I made a print for the cable clamp too since it was going to cost me $20 to order one.

It's pretty tight though so it's not the best solution. I'm not sure how tight it is on the OEM version.

The SL7/Venge headset cap is impossible to find online. You could maybe order one through a dealer (no idea what the part number is).

For now at least I ordered the "ONIPAX Lightweight Headset Top Cap" from Amazon and clipped the attachment clips on the top of the cover. I used velcro to keep it on but I just took it off to think of alternate ideas.

Thank You very much for posting this. I'm building my bike up slowly and really want that clean look.
I transferred the file to a printing service.

Awesome. Thank you.

As for the topcap bolt, I believe the part # is S182500012

The stem clamp is part #S204800003

With SL7 stem, think I saw a build with a Venge stem as well. Much cleaner looking.

anyone running mechanical groupset on the latest allez sprint? would like to get your feedback on shifting as if if there is any issue with the routing/shifting? Thank you.

Anyone know why I’m supposed to put in these giant holes:

I bought frame only and there’s nothing in the “parts bag” that would cover them.

Hi, may I know how is the shifting with the mechanical groups on this frame? Thanks!

Mechanical shifting is fine, same as it was with my CAAD10. Also, I heard back from Spec “rider care team” and the giant BB holes are supposed to be there, and there are NO covers.

I can't recall seeing it elsewhere apart from some old steel bikes. If it were such a great idea surely it would be common place in the current era? And if not, surely cause for celebration that Specialised have bestowed this amazing drainage feature on this model only!

Pardon my cynicism, but methinks in all likelihood it was a last ditch effort to shave literal grams off an overweight frame in one of the few places they could get away with it.

I remember watching a specialized university instructional video or maybe GCperformance where they state that the holes at the bottom are to make mechanical routing easier.

Anywho, here's my allez finally built up. Def is heavier than my S-Works SL7 but I don't have scale. Not too worried about bike weights since my legs ultimately need to show up and right now, my bikes do more talking than my legs. :D

This is super cool, thanks for posting.

I’m a total noob at 3D printing, can anyone recommend a company to print this for me? What material would you recommend?

Thanks for the help.

Same. I uploaded the two .stl files to shapeways and chose the color/material. Was easy. Still havent received it. But I assume it will be good. Cost me $33 for the clamp and the headset cap.
