^^ gah! That's hideous! Last year's one was far superior, if a little garish.

Nice build.... as for the harshness... tubeless tires and carbon bars work wonders for that.
Doesn't make it as soft as my 2005 S-Works Tarmac, but just as good as my Giant Propel was.

So my headset is pretty notchy. I've read on previous pages that the Sprint is kind of known to have this issue.

Do I need to replace both the upper and lower bearings, or is it usually one or the other that needs replaced?
Can I swap at home or do I need to take it to a shop to drift/press?

Some Feedback needed

I am deploying and being that my primary race bike is a 13' Scott Foil 20, i am going to a get a Specialized Allez Sprint and ride at my assignment location but my dilema is that i want to upgrade to Ultegra Di2 when i come back.
My choices are both 2017 models but 1 with 105 11 speed at 1455.00 the other is 10 Speed Tiagra at 1100.00. I do plan on putting aero carbon bars as well and putting my carbon rims on as well. But while deployed i will only be training

Should i pay 300.00 more for the extra gear when ultimately i will be replacing it in 7 months anyway

I'd save the money, but that's just me. One note, the Allez Sprint is not drilled for Di2. If you want to run cables fully internal, you will need to drill holes that will void your warranty. When I ran mine I cut the e-tube cables and re-soldered them so I could route them out of the factory cable exits at the bottom of the downtube. I then used Shimano's external stick on e-tube cable covers to route them along the same route as the mechanical cables would run. The internal seatpost battery mount for the Venge ViAS works perfectly with the Sprint (same seatpost). Feel free to PM me when you get arround to doing it if you want any pictures of how I did mine.

So any word on when the 2019 models / colors are going to be announced? May try getting the pink frame but if the new ones are di2 compatible somehow I will wait.

Honestly, if you know how to splice a wire and don’t mind tracking down a few minor parts (battery holder for Venge ViAS, Di2 cable ports for Roubaix, etc), running Di2 on this frame doesn’t come out looking that bad using the mechanical cable routing. I don’t know that I would make Di2 compatibility a limiting factor. They very well may add ports, but they might not have any colors you like. It’s almost guaranteed that the current colors won’t be available. They don’t typically re-issue the same colors on subsequent year models for unbuilt framesets. I’d say if you like the Acid Pink, get it.
