Impatiently waiting for the new (and hopefully loud af) color schemes and I'm not sure how to feel about that. If I'd wanted a SL7, I'd get a SL7. Then again, maybe it's an improvement.WWerreWW wrote: ↑Mon Apr 26, 2021 5:40 pmOk, any rumours about the 2022s? I heard back from a Specialized Canada rep that we should expect 'some' changes beyond just paint and that the bike will be released sometime this summer, but my LBS contact is saying to expect essentially an aluminum Tarmac SL7 (same fork and seatpost most likely). Anyone heard anything different?
Di2 blanks do exist and my 2020 frame set came with them. You will have to look into how / if you can source these a la carte. That or beg, borrow, steal from another who went mechanical.
I bought my AS in 2019 and I tried 28 Continental 4 Season and Pirelli P Zero Velo with two different rims and they fitted on the rear but not on the front. However, I just purchased a 28 Pirelli P Zero Road and that does fit on the front on my rim (Prime carbon).berest wrote: ↑Tue May 11, 2021 7:38 pmCan anybody tell me please:
1) What is the max tire clearance for the rim brakes 2019 Allez Sprint? Can i put a 28mm(outer) width carbon rims + 28mm tires without a rubbing/clearance issues? I suppose it's gonna be 30mm or even 31mm at all. The plan is: GP5000 or some Pirellis P Zero, not sure yet.
2) Will the Ultegra R8000 brakes work with the 28mm carbon rims? I have never tried such a wide rims with them.
3) Has anybody used a LB AR46 and/or R45 rims on a Sprint? Any pics, feedbacks? Or would you recommend to go with an AR36/R35 options(still prefer the look of larger 46/45)?
Thank you.
Sounds good! Can you upload a couple photos of the clearance front + rear, please? And what's the dimensions of your rims(inner/outer)?Bungle73 wrote: ↑Thu May 13, 2021 12:53 pmI bought my AS in 2019 and I tried 28 Continental 4 Season and Pirelli P Zero Velo with two different rims and they fitted on the rear but not on the front. I've actually only got a 25 on the front atm - I ordered based in my previous experience of 28s not fitting. The rims are Prime BlackEdition 50s, 19mm (internal) 27.5mm (external).berest wrote: ↑Thu May 13, 2021 2:12 pmSounds good! Can you upload a couple photos of the clearance front + rear, please? Thanks!
I got LB AR56 on my 2017 Allez Sprint with Ultegra R8000. 30mm outer width rims with GP5000 25mm tyres. I must say it just barely works with the calipers. I suggest going for a less wide rim.berest wrote: ↑Tue May 11, 2021 7:38 pmCan anybody tell me please:

Yupp, i see, thanks. Firstly i will try to install my current 26s Pirelli Cinturato on the upcoming wheelset to check the clearance on the Sprint. If it's fine i'll order a 26s Velo Race TLR.
- I decided to go with a 28mm outer/21mm inner, AR46. According to Shimano, 28mm seems to be the widest profile R8000 can accept without any issues.
