Any info on a updated version of the allez? Can’t seem to find any availability for the old one in my size new or used anywhere

I have a rim brake Sprint (two actually, plus a track version) and I have 28 mm GP5000 on a Roval CLX64 rear wheel on one of the bikes, and it has lots of room.TLN wrote: ↑Mon Jan 24, 2022 10:09 pmYou did right thing. I've tried 28c on Roval CL64, rim brake version, It clears front, but not rear wheel.berest wrote: ↑Wed Jan 12, 2022 3:26 pmHas anyone tried to put a 28mm GP5000 Clincher(not TL etc) tyres, mounted on a 21mm ID(inner diameter) rims on a rim-brake Allez Sprint? Is that possible? What was the actual width? Any rubbing or clearance issues? Can anybody upload a photo(s) of the same setup here please?
The CL and CLX use the same rim, so it seems odd you can't fit it.
There's talk about it becoming an 'aluminum SL7', with fully integrated cables and a re-design to use the Sl7 fork and seatpost (instead of the SL6 fork and Venge seatpost).mrbrown4001 wrote: ↑Wed Feb 02, 2022 4:53 amAny info on a updated version of the allez? I'm really into this idea, it sounds like the perfect bike for me (and probably a fair few other people too). This bike has been rumoured to come out forever, it hasn't actually been updated since MY 2020 I believe. Latest talk seems to be a spring launch, but who knows? Maybe someone else on this thread with some inside info *cough*people that work at bike shops*cough* could throw us a bone.

But how about front wheel? Cuz TLN was talking about about rubbing on the front.jasonbrim wrote: ↑Wed Feb 02, 2022 3:40 pmI have a rim brake Sprint (two actually, plus a track version) and I have 28 mm GP5000 on a Roval CLX64 rear wheel on one of the bikes, and it has lots of room.TLN wrote: ↑Mon Jan 24, 2022 10:09 pmYou did right thing. Days of room. The closest the tyre comes to the fork is the underside of the fork (not the sides). But there is still about 5 mm.
But TLN was saying it cleared the front but not the rear.
Yupp, exactly, because by default it'll be always more space on the back than on the front. That's why he was talking about front setup only(which is way more important than on the back).
Anyway, i have already bought a 25s. Possibly, will try to put a 28s in the future.
BTW, did you measure a width on the front? At what PSI? Thanks.
