Guys those of you that have fitted Di2 and drilled the end of the chain stay did you bother removing the hanger to do this?
Just starting on mine and stripping the group set off it and one of the allen bolts on the hanger won't budge and clearly someone's had a go in the past, looking at it I reckon I could drill the end of the stay whilst it's in situ?

What year is your Sprint?

Newer ones will have Di2 holes pre-drilled underneath the chainstay.

Otherwise the alternative is to cut and solder back the Di2 cables. Would be easier to remove the hanger, but based on how you cut and route the cable it may be possible to leave the hanger on. This link might help: viewtopic.php?p=1599553#p1599553

Thanks for that Maxim809, yeah mines a 2017 I believe, no Di2 holes to speak of but does seam relatively simple!

That’s a great link, I shall read with great interest

I take it yours is a newer model with that grommet under the chainstay?

Yessir, 2020. I got lucky with the grommet but did it the hard way through the rear chainstay because I am silly.

It does look cleaner coming out the back this way, though. So was worth it to me in the end. Good luck.

Very kind thank you. Do you know if it’s possible to get blanks for the down tube where the shifter cables should enter/exit?

HI there,

Can anybody show me a pics of Allez Sprint(all cable transmission and brakes. non-disc, non di2) with the S-Works Aerofly 2 handlebar, please? Been thinking of an upgrade. Like the overall looking of the Aerofly 2, but not sure if all the cables and housing could fit into it without breaking the housing's angle due to very small amount of space between the stem and the exit holes for the housing/cables on the handlebar. Afraid of that.

Thank you

The lack of cable symmetry in that last pic hurts my heart...
