Both arguments are not true IME. Most high quality jerseys have rear pockets that do not sag. Many use different materials for shoulders and back. Some not but, even then, rarely this is a real issue IMO.
But, it is boring arguing with somebody who cannot find the slightest imperfection on Assos though. I guess you might even thing that waiting 12 days for my shipment just shows Assos's more professional service. :beerchug:
Strange to accuse me of not being able to find fault with anything Assos does. You perhaps have a different opinion on the pockets to me. You must be right and I must be biased then.

I have nothing to say on the web service you have had. I don't work for Assos any longer, so I won't apologize for it. It's none of my business and being that my relationship to the industry is such, I am not a normal consumer. The service I get is on different terms.

Very astute. Yes, I work for PSG who own GCN amongst other channels.

Fell down this morning and got a little hole in my winter ultraz jacket. I read about a damage policy of assos for items purchase within 3 months, any experience?

My experience is quite old by now. Ripped a hole in an Intermediatejacket S7 (and my shoulder, and became member of the Ti club) five years ago, and the jacket was a couple of years old by then. Assos replaced the whole upper arm panel free of charge. But they may have tightened the policy by now.

Are they any really skinny gentlemen (slimmer than their size chart) wearing Assos? Could it be tight or just like a commuting jersey?

On their chart, the chest and waist are 88 and 70-74 for XS, but I'm still slimmer (85/67). I'm used to slim/tight fit. e.g, rapha pro team in XS, whose chest and waist are 84 and 67 on the chart. Another customer-sized suit is even a bit tighter.

I would swap a zipped pocket for the three pockets with in pocket lids which Assos provides on every garment I have with a zip if I could. 3 secure pockets, versus one, and no messing around with having to try to zip a pocket up with one hand behind you. Far better.

Assos jerseys are worth a premium over nearly every other maufacturer, because no one else (in my experience) manages to not have the pockets sag to your arse as soon as you put anything in them. Very few manufacturers also seem to recognise that the back of the jersey, and the shoulders of the jersey do different jobs, and just use the same material all the way around.
lol.......pure crazy-talk. Giordana FRC-pro among others have very tight, stable, reinforced pockets attached to jersey with a completely different foundation material. ie: basically long, rigid, carbon strands that keep the pockets high and flat when loaded. To think that Assos is the only manufacturer that does this is absurd.

I don't know much about Giordana as it is almost completely absent from the high street in the UK.

I just noticed this beauty:

I don't see this on the Assos website. All black with metal zipper, awesome :)

Check out those redlined pockets, oooh yes baby!

Ah, a Profblack version of the Équipe RS Aero! If you're into black summer jerseys (I'm not!) go get it.

I definitely am. Only downside is it's slighty hotter, but for very warm days I got different clothing anyway.

It's here finally! The Aero Jacket RS23, or the Équipe RS Spring/Fall jacket if you like.

Just tried it on. The fit is like the Intermediate EVO jacket of old. My size M fits snug, snug, snug, and the sleeves are just as snug on my stick like arms and also long enough for my crazy wing span. I'm in love.

What's the measurement from top shoulder seam to end of cuff?

The old Intermediate jacket indeed fits tight, bur since you mentioned Evo, is it the one with the straight line or the ones with trapezoidal shapes? The former does fit very tight.

Seam between shoulder and sleeve to end of cuff: 53 cm. Note this is relaxed state. It's aero tight like on a TT suit and stretches when I put it on.
Seam neck piece/shoulder piece to end of cuff: 63 cm. Relaxed state here as well.

The similar fitting Intermediate Evo. Came in lots of different colours:

It's more relaxed fitting and shorter sleeved replacement Intermediate_S7. Always black chest and pockets:
