With all the newer 1/3, 2/3 and 3/3, the fit is more accurate to actual size IMO.
Where do you see the 2/3 and 3/3 available? I can't find anything other than the 1/3 on Assos' site.

I also have a question for @RTW regarding skinfoils, specifically their length. I have spring/fall skinfoil with short and long sleeves, version with two white lines on their sleeves. And also winter skinfoil 6/7, all of them in size I. They are all sufficiently long. Now I bought early winter skinfoil (3/4) with turtle patern on one sleeve and this one is considerably shorter. I also compared it with my wife's size 0 old iteration (two white lines on sleeves) and mine was shorter than her's. I have to stretch it a lot when getting dressed in order to be able to stuff it under my pants but I can't stop to wonder if this new "length" is normal or did I receive a defected skinfoil?
I suggest that you send it to ASSOS or bring it to one of our stores for assessment (or they can send it in). Sorry to not be of more help.

I don't think they're out yet, just the older 2/4. But I'm sure they'll be available when before the season starts.

Thank you. With 2/3, any changes from 2/4 (in the SS version)?

Is there any difference between the s7 and evo7 for the skinfoil baselayers? s7 is the older version and with slightly different visual design, but any real difference in fabric and performance?

Curious as I plan to pick up a pair as well.
RS.

Definitely less bulky chamois than the S7s. The material seems slightly less stretchy.

Fit seems the same.

I already did that but had no "success". We compared size 0 and II of early winter skinfoil and 0 was not much shorter or even the same while II was only slightly longer. But in general II is too big for me. Lenghts are just a bit confusing to me right now but ok, I just stretch mine and stuff it under my pants, which then hold it in place - seems to work. While in shop I saw that new hot summer skinfoil in black is also very short, but again stretchy, so should be able to lenghten it and put it under pants as well.

Appreciate your help anyway :)

yeah, fit wasn't or didn't seem correct when the SkinFoils came out. I transitioned from the earlier baselayers (not SkinFoils) and figured they would or should fit the same. The sleeve lengths were all over the place...I can wear a size I or size III without much difference with the exception of the material bunching up a bit more with the III. They both fit regardless. Now, with the newer ones coming out...I can wear size 0 without any issues. I don't think you got a defective SkinFoil...its just the nature of the beast. Tons of stretch in the more insulated versions than the warmer versions with mine.

Sorry to hijack your reply. Just wondering if you have experience with both s7 and evo7 skinfoils (for colder weather), and any significant difference between them? I have the older s7 versions, and am considering whether if it's worth getting the evo7. Thanks!

The material weave is different. If you like the S7 version, no reason to go evo7. However, summer version is more ventilated if you need that.

S7 goes all the way to 7 while the Evo/ goes to 4, right? I have from both, and the earlier are mostly stiffer. IIRC sizing steps are different too: Evo7 has four steps whereas S7 had three.

Thanks! It seems that even the material is the same (e.g. for early winter) but the weave can be different. Probably not much of difference in terms of performance.
