The difference look like the pad and especially the price.

Haha. The new Mille GTO Winter Tights....$550!!

Much better than the others aside from the cushier chamois?
I wish they'd stop putting neoprene on the bottom of their winter tights...... just makes you sweat
I never liked when they first started using neoprene for the ankles. I have to wear Merino socks to allow some breathing so the sweat is less of an issue but still happens.

At those temps I use merino socks. Roads are often semi wet too.
Anyway. Had the LL33RS out for the first time today. Very nice. 6C, 5 m/s, cloudy.

has anyone tried the Spring Fall Equipe RS S9 bib shorts? Can’t find much about them.

I have them. Prefer them over Tiburu S7 shorts, they feel warmer and are softer to the touch. They sre sufficiently hogh in the waist area. But I just can't get along with their chamois since S7, get scuffing all the time. This summer I bought non Assos bibs for the furst time - Q36.5. And it was not the last time, ate least for the summer bibs I can say I love them.

I’m trying to decide between them and the Rapha Pro Team Winter bibs. My main problem with Assos is how short they are (need XS but I have long legs, 1.75m) . How longer than usual are these?

I'd take Assos over Rapha shorts all day long.

The T23RS is my all time favourite. I don’t get people’s urge for knee long shorts.

The problem is that I had the standart Equipe RS S9 and I had to sell them because they were ridiculously short on me, even in a size S which were a bit loose also.

Were Merckx and Anquetil’s shorts ridiculous too?

To me they seem a bit longer than summer RS S9 version but I haven't measured them. Whether they'd fit you you will only know when trying them on.

Same here. Especially if the weather is an issue. Anything technical requires Assos over Rapha. I have been testing out the new MAAP gear and it’s quite nice!

Different construction on LL33RS and LL33GTO, not just the pad.
Of course somebody’s got to pay for the choice between golden and grey straps.
