I have another question, is spring fall long sleeves skin layer the same thickness than spring short sleeves skin layer? I want to use spring long sleeves skin layer under RS spring jacket.

Thanks for the breakdown of Assos fall/ winter bibs..
having the 2/3 RS bibs with the leg warmer (the new ones with the zips) I can say it’s not working for me, as I can’t make the leg warmers work/ find a proper position.. I’ll be in the market for the longer version.. hopefully for Black Friday Assos will have some good sales.

Socks wise I had great expectations on the fugu speers but I prefer the bonka S7 or the 3/3 fugu ones. As I mentioned I bought the new toe covers so I’m going to play with them and see what I can do.
Regarding the stitching I have the same issue as yours on a pair of ‘old’ early winter socks.. but they work beautifully this time of the year..so I’m keeping them

Image

ATM, here in northern Italy (8-11C), I wear the intermediate + Speer haube + 2/3 shoe covers
I’ll move to the bonka socks with the other two, then moving during the coldest days with ultraz +Speer haube (new for this year)+3/3 shoe covers+ a yellow highviz castelli shoe covers (a thin one just for visibility)
Maybe I’ll try again the fugu speer.. I found the newest model (the black and white on sale) so maybe I’ll give it a shot

What do you think?

Regarding the alley cat I opted for a S size (tighter/more snug fit) as I’ve already had the schlossund evo in size M.. alleycat perfect fit for summer and spring is S = too tight when I wear the bonka jacket

I have a 91cm chest and 79,5cm for waist, for reference a size S for Assos is chest 92 waist 75-80
I don’t have this specific number, but in n general with Assos the length of the sleeves is always a touch too much

Impressive that you still have those Fugu- and Early Winter socks, Matte86. That said I liked those Fugus so much that I used them for everything.

Thanks @ico, @kode54 and @Matte86. Someone has used Spring fall liner gloves like outer gloves? I hate padded gloves . I guess if they are durable using like normal gloves.

Thx Matte86…
I have the M but really should’ve went with the S. Not sure if it’s vanity sizing but seems as though most sizing has increased in volume. The alleycat should be more snug as you have alluded to and should’ve gone done in size on the Equipe RS EVO rain jacket as well. If I did, I wouldn’t be able to wear it in the winter for added winter protection whereas the alleycat wouldn’t help as much and is a better summer/spring/fall shell.

Yep, I got the Assos Spring/Fall Liner Gloves (newest model) and been using them in 7-11C range. Works perfect perfectly. Its a bit too cold for short fingers and not cold enough for full winter. These fit perfectly and they are a bit longer so you can fit them under your jacket sleeve. I really like them.

Theyre not, really good and no problems with racing etc. I do need to check more Assos socks but wondering if there's nothing better. Price wish pretty expensive

Current Assos socks are all over the place. Winter socks do not seem like winter socks to me...not like the Fugu merino wool versions they made. The last pair of socks I bought from Assos was the Bonka ones that were for winter. I use them for fall/spring and sometimes early winter with overshoes.

I am interested in the liner gloves...which I could use under a pair of windproof winter gloves.

I also find the difference between these 2 socks strange :
https://www.assos-store.be/assosoires-winter-socks.html & https://www.assos-store.be/assosoires-u ... socks.html
Seems like the same sock but 1 has full blue top and 1 has half but €2 difference? Material etc seems the same.
