sS.Uno ?
I don't want to be too pedantic but the second character looks like a 5 in comparison to the S next to it. And why would they have a logo to tell you that the garment isshort sleeve. That's pretty obvious and it's more likely the logo denotes the model or generation, hence it looking to my eyes like S5.

Here's a link to a Brit retailer showing an S5 Uno. https://www.evanscycles.com/assos-ss-un ... y-EV166654 and it looks like the S7 version as shown on the product label.

sS = short sleeve
lS = long sleeve
ll = long leg
etc

This is the way it was.

I firmly beleive that the product naming is getting better, and the range is more coherrant. Part of this is getting rid of these codes. Are there examples which are confusing within our range still? Yes, there are. Is that true of all brands? Yes, pretty much. Is everyone selling the product an expert on it? Some are, and some aren't.

The link there is from 2012.

Great jersey, the SS.Uno_s7. If the sleeves were 2 cm longer the fit would be perfect (for me. My shoulders are like Kruijswijk's). The graphics are still da bomb.

@Calnago:
The RSR S9 is the one closest to the Campionissimo S7 compression wise.

Ah thanks, yes... it’s the RSR version that’s like the Campionissimo.
But what the hell... are Stavros’s arms 2cm too short as well, just like his legs? Sheesh, how does he manage to reach high enough to pick his fruit. I am looking forward to peaches from his new trees however.

^@RTW: The Sturmprinz rain jacket is still rS.Sturmprinz, officially. rS = rain Shell I presume.

Suggestion: Rename it 113 Rain Jacket (with Sturmprinz written on the left arm to please us few).

I'm still non the wiser what the differences are between the T.Cento and Cento Evo bib shorts are? - Same retail price, except one appears more discounted in places.. does that mean that one is a newer version than the other?

Apologies if this has been covered already...

Are the RS S9 shorts more or less compressive than the T.MILLESHORTS_S7?

I've put around 2500mi on a pair of T.MILLESHORTS_S7 I purchased last summer, and they have loosened up quite a bit - I'd prefer more compression.

The stitching at the edges of the pad is also coming undone. This was my first set of Assos bibs, so I'm sort of disappointed in the quality. I've read posts from others that have been using a set of Assos bibs for years. It seems I should get more than a season of wear before they fall apart?

Can I expect more from the RS S9?

I think from my own anecdotal evidence that the placement of the stitching is worse on the S7 than S5 - I have had the pad come partly loose, from washing I imagine, on both my S7 but not on S5.

I have not had any such problems on my S7s (neither did I have them on my S5s. I actually still use the T.607 if it's nippy but dry).

T.Campionissimo
T.Tiburushorts
LL.Milletights

I do use washing bags and max 800 rpm on the sentrifuge.

a bit more with the RS S9...but noticeably more with the RSR S9.

with the S7s,,,the pad is not sewn all around the chamois...it has 'wings' so it moves. Is that what you're talking about regarding the loose stitching?
The only bibs that I have that are falling apart is a Cento S7...one of the straps has a hole in it that gets bigger everytime I wear. Its pretty much toast, so I'm moving onto the RSR S9.

Holes/loose stitching on the back, right before the wings start.

I'm going to attempt to sew it up myself, or possibly patch it so I can keep wearing them. :noidea:

Can someone share their experience with both Equipe Evo and Cento Evo SS jerseys? I have the former in M, nice close fit without being true racing tight (~150 lbs, 5'11''). Want to try the Cento Evo and I want to have the same fit as my Equipe (not tighter), is S the right size or would that be tigher than I'd like? Thanks.

P.S. @RTW, from earlier posts I see you have both, would love to hear your thoughts.

I was able to get it warrantied. I just filled out the form on the Assos website and heard back about a week later.
