Maybe the RS9 superleger (you can check them on Assos website) for hot summer days/indoor sessions

Ah yes the shave all the way up bib shorts.

I must hail the T23RS, the Swiss Army knife among cycling bib shorts.

The Targa 2/3 jacket looks like it offers a bit more coverage for one’s backside than the yellow accented.

That may be it, there's something changing the fabric compisition slightly and that would make sense.

Those new bibs are far too revealing on the model and would be a disaster on me.

I think those fall into the category of best left to the Cippolini's of the world.

Hi, anyone know what Targa means? Targa top cars have large often removable sunroofs. Baffling

Targa is Italian for plate

Can be a trophy, like in the Targa Florio (lit. Flowered Plate) car race or the Wimbledon women’s tennis singles.

The removable roof of a Porsche Targa is a rectangular plate, no?

Assos may have thought of the shape as similar to a shield, something protective.

I was able to compare the new Schlosshund (no back slits) to the previous EVO one today. They're more different than I thought, the material is similar but feels a bit softer inside, maybe not as rubbery feeling on the outside. Similar but slightly different cuff IIRC. Not sure how much difference we'd see riding in them but there was more to the update than I thought.

I'd say it is slightly more packable due to being a bit softer overall. I was looking at the "propeller orange" I thought it was lolly red but it is more burnt orange than the lolly red from Assos usually is so I guess that is why they call it "propeller orange".

Now I'm curious which jacket is most like the fabric in the Equipe RS Rain Vest they've added.

My first thought was that it was a bad thing they removed the back slits. They were nice for getting to the jersey pockets but also to create underpressure when opening the zipper to regulate so that the jacket didn't ballon.
On second thoughts they are not really necessary with the two way zipper. Basisally you both regulate and get acces by using the lower puller.

Nice to see that there's a full Dyora RS Spring/fall (2/3) line now.

I just received my Targa in propeller orange. I like the color more than the Lolly Red. Like @kytyree mentions, its more like a burnt orange. The waist band is similar to the last iteration of the Equipe RS rain jacket...different from my first gen rain jacket. Two zippers which is nice and no reach through back pockets. I have yet to try it out, but fits well and a bit better than my first gen.

Oh, and the rear reflective stripe is much nicer and brighter. Taped seams and made well.

I'm new to this thread. Have we done the Assos girl's appearance in Playboy yet?

Dunno if it’s really necessary, eurostar.

The whole bloody front of the GTO is a Kuku Penthouse and somebody’s late to the party.

Has anyone compared the RS Targa with the former RS 2/3 Jacket? I have the version from last season which I love, but would like to pick up a second one since it's really more of a LS insulated jersey and I find needs a wash after 2 rides unlike a winter jacket which I can stretch 3-4 rides.

From what I can tell is basicly identical, but costs $55 more and loses the yellow and white accents (which I actually kind of like as it matches the system and adds a bit of visibility.

I'd love to hear from people who can comment on their preference between the RS Aero Gillet vs the RS Rain Vest. I prefer the bright Lolly Red of the Rain Vest (especially since I expect it woudl get worn primarily during early-morning starts and shed as the sun comes up), but it looks like the Aero Gillet rear pannel would breathe better and might be more packable. The Schlosshund rain jacket is a bit bulky.
