Yes, one of the things I like is the current length of the shorts.

Just about to stick a big orde in for all the new S9 kit... I hope it fits similar to the S7 stuff or it'll be going back!

Looking at the images of the new bib shorts, one thing that concerns me is that the rear panel doesn't look like it rises up much further than the front. I hope they don't feel like rear of the bib is lower than they should be, like they are slipping down.

I've ordered 2 pairs of the S9 shorts so will report back when they arrive. Hopefully compression is like the Equipes and not the Milles

Those short legs are looking to be on the shortish side. Is this an early iteration I wonder? Most of the other promo shots of the bibs show the short legs to be normal in length.

They look a bit pulled up to me

Agree, looked a bit jacked up. All the Pros wearing /riding in the S9s look like they're spot on.

I'm still waiting on my call from Rich for the modelling shoot.......

So.... on the S9 - I will tell you my experience.....

I have been riding them since August. I usually ride a size L in the Equipe range, having found the bib to be a little short. For the S9, I have switched to a size medium as the construction is different. The fact is I was only just on the cusp of M or L, but am more comfortable in the M for the Equipe RS shorts.

They went live today, and are avaiable here: https://www.sigmasports.com/item/Assos/ ... Short/KR71

I'm also an L in the Equipe but find the length perfect, so I've also gone for an L in the S9's (RS's and not the RSR's)

From memory, I don't think I noticed a difference in the length for the Medium Equipe RS, versus the Large Equipe EVOs. That is to say that the Equipe RS are ever so slightly longer.

It’s probably the first Assos Bibshorts I m excited to try ..... and as RTW knows I m a bit of a Rapha Whore. Now if Assos could just launch an Aero Jersey with Arm Length to my elbows then I might be almost converted.

Is the compression on the RS like the Equipe?

We will never do that, you have the arms of an ape dragging on the floor.

You might find that there are some on their way to you, if you are back at home yet?

Yes. They feel very similar in that respect.
