I just ordered one of these, R9150 + EEBrakes + ??? crankset is the plan for the build.

What is everyone using for an expander plug?
If yours is delivered with the same stuff that mine was, you're getting a 50g anchor of a plug.

I pilfered the significantly lighter FSA one I was using on my previous bike and used the anchor one one on that bike. The FSA isn't particularly light either, so I'm currently searching for a legit weight-weenie alternative that doesn't break the bank.

I love it, extremely cool, but how does one preload the bearings? How does a cap screw on it?

How is everyones bikes still going? Curious if there has been any faults or problems. I have done an Everesting, several 300km and 200 odd km rides and still going strong. I would buy one again with absolutely no hesitation.

Hello :)

I'd like to buy this frame for my new project. I'd like to use 28mm rim width +25mm tires but I'm not sure that they will be suit for that frame. Do you have any experience with this combination? :)

I have 25mm width rim and tyre and they fit fine. I am not sure that there is alot more room. Maybe someone else on here has tried that combination?

Hi folks,

after collecting almost every information possible about this frame, I pulled the trigger some weeks ago.

I did not go for an explicit ww build and so I installed 55mm Clinchers with tubes and an integrated handlebar/stem combo. Groupset is mechanical SRAM Red with Shimano Dura Ace BR9000 Calipers and Qaurq dzero Powermeter.

The size of the frame is L (57) and without cutted seatpost and still missing wahoo mount it came out at 6,74kg

This is the result:

I just ended with the build and did not ride it yet.

Thank you everyone here for all the infos I got :-)

Hi, my name is Alex and here is a picture of mine, size 54.

highlights include
- Sram red 11 speed shifting
-Quark powermeter
-China Carbon 50mm clinchers
-Time stem and fsa extralight handlebars

I really love how this bike rides, handles and fits me, love descending on it. Have done several 150+ mile rides and a 200 mile ride with it and I never felt fatigued by the ride, especailly with 25c tires. Quite often I ride with tires which measure 28mm and I've never had any rub on the frame or anything. I also raced with it this season and its never been anything less than excellent. I also like the peace of mind knowing I'm not crashing a bike I can't afford to replace.

Ready to ride weight with pedals, garmin and bottle cages is 6.7kg. There are some hefty items like the 20$ amazon seatpost, pedals and cassette but its already such a light bike especially when considering I paid less than a 105 Allez for this whole ensamble . Before I painted it the frame and fork were like 730/280, after paint was 780/290. Colorshift is a really weight weenie paint option. Wish I had more pictures of the bike on me.

Frame 822g with hanger in 54cm, fork 339 uncut. 312 once cut. I haven't taken any decent photos yet, but will attach a photo, I put the supplied seatpost back on after this photo and have shortened the rear brake cable a little too.
Bike came in at 7kg on the dot with pedals, cages and garmin mount. About 6.6kg with carbon saddle and no pedals, but carbon saddle wmas not comfortable enough.Image

The entire thread you're replying to is about one specific frame model and the title lists both the manufacturer and model for you to easily research the answer to your questions.

Update on mine.

I've had it for about 5 years now and still enjoy it! Longest I've owned any one bike actually.

Recently changed over to PVC inner tunes (holds air amazingly long!), Extra Lite steerer spacers, Liekka 8 brake clones and a Cane Creek AER headset to shave some grams.

Scale shows it sits at 5655g as is.
