Little by little I'm reducing the weight on my new road bike. While certainly the Cane Creeks 200SL's arn't as light as others mentioned on this board. I was wondering if these should be a consideration of mine. I have Campy Centaur''s on now. I figure with what I could get for the Campy's on ebay and what the CC are selling for on ebay now (around $135) this would be a very cheap way of loosing 125g

the Cane Creeks have less braking power than the Centaurs. you're in Michigan (as am I), so you would probably be fine. if you ever do a mountainous stage race, you might regret the choice, though.

I assumed their might be some issues with these since I've not heard much about them on WW.

BTW - I'm race MTB's and just train on the road bike. I do however want to be able to hang with the local "A" group on group spins. I'm looking for value oriented weight shavings for those reasons. This is my sixth bike for gosh sakes
