Weight Weenies

I spotted CAV riding both his OPQS colored team Venge during the TOC as well as the blacked out version....could this be the new venge? Doesn't look much different, although the head tube seems to have more of that tarmac taper to it....

Little tough to tell....can anyone else spot anything or think it's just a back up bike?

Good eye! Cav's black Venge doesn't have that weird dust cap either.

It does have the weird dust cap. Also, it doesn't looks like a spare to me seeing as how the Zipp outlines on his wheels match the trim on his shoes!

That is not the new venge - his bikes just always look funny because he rides such a small frame - he's been seen with and without the dust cap moving his bars up and down.

My guess is the new venge will be well kept under wraps until they want it seen closer to the tour.

I have a funny feeling that's one of his signature metallic green bikes but the pictures make it look black. Certainly I'd be looking for a bigger change for a brand new version of the Venge.

Looks like a spare because it doesn't have a race number on it.

Also it looks like it's all black. Doesn't seem to have the green detailing.

It does have some green detailing, it's just covered from the sunlight by the doublechin.

I have a hard time imagining the new venge without a more aero solution for the front brake.
