I should apologize as the thread was technically started for the SiSL and I have used an Si it eliminated the offset dilema entirely.

EDIT 1:
We have updated our pedals to the XTR -3mm to correct the +2mm qfactor from the longer spindle, resulting in a -1mm qfactor (correctable at the shoe/cleat but ignored in our case)

EDIT 2:
Had our mechanic play around with the spacing when we replaced our bearings. Geometry appears to be off by around 1mm using a digital caliper wheel/rim to pedal, bottle cage screw to pedal pedal to frame -- we can't find any other centered measure points (wheel and bottle cage seemed to both confirm a 1mm offset)..
