I used Jagwire Elite Link under the tape with my old build before I crashed it...no issues.

The only issue I’ve come across with the link housing is after a few months, the links start creaking as they bend against each other. This drove me nuts for a few days because I thought my headset was creaking. Eventually I realized where the creaks were coming from and massaging a drop of chain lube over the links got rid of it.

Looking at these for my new build, V2-r which has tight bend at head tube. Curious if any body knows the difference between Jagwire ellite linc kits and alligator I link brake kits ? They look the same except alligator is cheaper.

Hi! I'm using Jagwire Elite Link. The problem is that cable rubs against adjusting screw. As I understand design adjusting screw works as ferrule and requires housing ends exactly before hole.
Jagwire ferrules has 6mm diameter and not fits. I used 6mm-5mm adapter included. But 5mm part of adapter just 10mm long and does not reach the end of adjusting screw. Also Jagwire liner has 2.7mm diameter and can't pass through hole in adjusting screw.
Is there a common solution? I see two options. First: remove adapter and ferrule, use links as "housing". Second: drill adjusting screw to pass through liner. I really don't like second :-)
Thanks for advance!

Use a link the final piece inside the adjuster. It would be better to have the wider ends of the links against the adjuster on both sides.

Need to recable the bike soon and came across the jagwire elite link. They seem nice. Anyone use them yet?

Yokozuna is good, but it's heavy. I've run them for several years, and never had any issues with them.
