Wouldn't it be nice to discuss the new 2006 pro bikes?

I just got a link to Erik Dekkers website (http://www.erikdekker.nl), with his new bike.

As said beofre, Rabobank is riding Pro Pilot equipment these year, instead of Cinelli (see "2006 pro equipment"-topic in the cyclocross forum for the new cyclocross bikes); remark the orange front plate on the stem. They all will have Colnago Cristallo's; I just can't get used to the shape of these bikes, and with this paintscheme they are just ugly. :? Where is that beautiful all black C50 some Rabo guys used to ride?

Funny to see he's training with a Polar (with cadance sensor)... and you can see himself in the window of that car!

Is that an elastomer or something in the wishbone of that Discovery Trek?

True, a kind of shock redemption for Paris-Roubaix. They allready used that system this year, called the SPA:

I think they were still mounting when this picture was taken. They still have to fit the rider on it; the extensions are too long anyway.

those bars radically slope down from their stem mount. Great if you have to get low, but as per that Wilier if you're already low at the front end you have to go up and then down.

Cristallo's for training (see the attachment for a pump at his bottle cage holder) and C50 for racing? At least that's what Zabel will be doing! And Petacchi as well got a Cristallo and a C50.

The decals on the TCR Advanced for T-Mobile are white in that picture. The ones at our shop are silver, complement the DA group well. Aren't T-mobile's bikes silver as well?

It seems Lampre can't get away from hybrid carbon fiber - aluminum bicycles.
