Wouldn't it be nice to discuss the new 2006 pro bikes?
I just got a link to Erik Dekkers website (http://www.erikdekker.nl), with his new bike.
As said beofre, Rabobank is riding Pro Pilot equipment these year, instead of Cinelli (see "2006 pro equipment"-topic in the cyclocross forum for the new cyclocross bikes); remark the orange front plate on the stem. They all will have Colnago Cristallo's; I just can't get used to the shape of these bikes, and with this paintscheme they are just ugly. Where is that beautiful all black C50 some Rabo guys used to ride?
Funny to see he's training with a Polar (with cadance sensor)... and you can see himself in the window of that car!

those bars radically slope down from their stem mount. Great if you have to get low, but as per that Wilier if you're already low at the front end you have to go up and then down.

- Zipp rims will break if you look at them too hard
- R-Sys wheels will spontaneously explode
- The ZG crankset will never, ever exist
- Everyone needs Lightweights, even if they're fat and old
- Parts actually made of metal are SO 10 years ago
