Twin top tubes, twin down tubes, no visible EPS power unit. Mostly a styling exercise, but looks good.

Not bad at all for a limited edition bike with EPS...

F1 seems like it would be the best place to go for a carbon frame that is stiff and aero. If you look at an F1 team and say build a bike, must use 700C wheels, must allow for standard drivetrain, make it aero and stiff....go! They are going to come up with some interesting ideas.

Like the McLaren Venge? I have to say, Caterham did a muuuuuuch better job making a cool bike (rather than just a top-of-the-line aero bike) than that.

And let's not forget the crazy tech behind the Aston Martin One-77 bike and the super sexy Lamborghini BMC.

McLaren only optimized the layup on their version of the Venge. The Venge was already a finished product when it was passed over to them.
This is much more like the Aston Martin, or the BeruF1 bike that preceded it.

Anyone have more news on the production of this bike? Or photos of the production version in Asia ... Looks interesting\fun for sure knowing the Caterham group it came out of.

I know this bike was engineered with the same software and very similar methodolgy and optimizarion as our Rolo bikes. Don't know if it ever went into production../a

What software is that, Andy? From your web page, I'd guess Patran. But Fibersim seems plausible too. What did you actually use?

Any word on frame/fork weight?

We do all our work in house with Altair Hyperworks, also use Altair as consultants to do some of the more heavy lifting. Now in 13.0 beta, used by McLaren Racing, Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Northrop, lotsa companies really.

From what I recall the frame was/is 800-900g.
