Whenever anyone says "I live in a Democracy I can do what I want" I always get images in my brain of guys who like to staplegun their nuts to a plank.

Point being, just because its not illegal doesn't mean its not wrong.

Why would you take a perfectly good frame and then try to make it something it's not?

Just because it s my choice and i live in a democratie (France) so i do what i want
Best regards

I guess my point is that Chinese frames like this are good in their own right, and they deserve the increased recognition they are getting for their improvement.

I love seeing high quality builds like this on Chinese open-mould frames, because I think it encourages more innovation and better moulds.

My comment has nothing to do with your electoral system (?!) - I just think it's a pity you choose to sticker your bike up as something else.

Looks nice. I like all black. Did you have your frame painted matte black? Mine is UD with black on some of the joints, and a semi gloss clear coat on it all. I ordered the matt finish with no paint.

I ordered the Matte UD also but it's hard to tell from the pictures. In the sun you can see the UD carbon showing through just a little. Same on the wheels. I am thinking of getting some decals, but I'm not sure if I want minimal thin white ones to match the SRAM kit or gloss black. I think i'm going with white on the rims for sure though.

I'm not sure of the totally weight yet. I need to run by my local bike shop because I don't have a scale that will measure over 10 pounds.

If the 10 pound scale is not adequate, then your bike is too heavy!! :(

@ justinhillpac

I like it a lot! It looks really mean and purposeful.
I'm only wondering out-loud:
-Is the housing to the rear-brake too long?
-I thought the housing for the front & rear derailleurs (from handlebar to downtube) look too short, but on another angle they look fine.

The housing is a little long. I had a shorter piece on there earlier before I switched brakes from SRAM to the Planet X ones, but it didn't seat properly in the ferrule with the new brakes because it was too short. I haven't gotten around to cutting yet because it worked fine and I was excited to ride.

The cables on the front allow the front wheel to turn a little past 100 degrees each direction. Hopefully it never goes past that while I'm on it.
