Hi all,

After building my VB 099, I decided to try out another kit using a superlight frame, apart from yeoleo R11 and speeder SC-R48D, is there any other 800~gram disc frame? Winspace has it's SLC 2.0 but it is rather costly compared to the rest.

Looks nice, too bad it has BB86. If you order one, please share the weight.

FWIW, Speeder were great to deal with when I ordered my wheelset for my Giant Revolt.

Also, from what I heard, the FM906-D is very light, though I don't know an exact number. Probably you can get one via Carbonda, as they're owned by Flybike.

Thanks for this recommendation, because those that I found is only BB86 which I am rather reluctant to use pf4130.

What's your aversion to BB86? I thought the wider spacing is preferable to a BB30/PF30/BSA arrangement.

BB86 is suboptimal with 30mm spindles and is generally heavier. What you gain with a lightweight frame you lose on heavy BB and/or crankarms.

Try Bb86 with Sram Dub Crankset and Sram Dub BB
One of the lightest Cranksets and not overpriced

This. Most of the lightweight crankset are based on 30mm spindle and the only 24mm ultralight is skypivot which has extremely long backorder time.

Flybike sent me what looks like a comprehensive weight table for FM906-D, except it's in Chinese. And the prices (kinda low):
FM906-D-SL:USD320(raw finish no including painting)
FO396:USD55(raw finish no including painting)
The fork is 420g±15g. So not much lighter than my FM-079/WCB-R-93 combo .

Looking at purchasing a new aero disc frame trying to decide between 099 and 168 but can't see much difference between the two. Does any know?

Also a more general question on integrated cables and using mechanical shifting, how do you adjust the cable tension? I'm using inline cable adjusters but with integrated cables how do you adjust it? On the rear mech it's possible but not on the front mech.

Don't latest Shimano road FDs have an integrated tension adjustment?

Thanks for the replies

Front mech - that's good to know. Is shimano rs685 shifters compatible with 8000 Ultegra??

099/168 - is the only change geometry? Look identical design wise. The 168 the more racy version?
