I have done 12,000km non eventful on my LTK118 over the course of a year+. I also have 5 years on light bicycle wheels for what its worth that are still are working fine.

No issues with frame really, highly recommend. Think my build is under 16 pounds with carbon wheels, no weight weenie parts on it either.

Quick question about tyres and clearances, can you get 28-30mm tyres in there?
I fit 28MM GP5000 on 19mm internal rims ya, the rear is tight but works.

One of the main drawbacks I've found with the frames with integrated handlebars is every brand has its own version.
I found this and it may be helpful to someone wanting to switch.
Acr upper headset race.

And is there any reason why I should choose Long Teng vs Velobuild if I'm looking at LTK118 vs VBR 077?

What's the general sentiment around Velobuild? Thinking about starting my disc build and I like their frames.
Complete and utter trash- worst possible customer service imaginable- takes forever to respond to emails/questions and dishonest. I bought a VB-068 from them- never again. The rear drops were slightly uneven, the BB was like a noodle, the BB threads had carbon/primer splash back all over them to the point I had buy a tool to clean them. I REALLY wanted to like it- I was so excited when I got it, but I was just really disappointed. Oh, and even though it was 1000-1050g for a "medium" frame, my 56 was 1276g. IDK, I just hate that company w/a passion- if you want more details, you can look into my older posts.
2014 Madone 5.9 w/R9100 shifters and R8000 everything else- using 38mm ICANs or 60/90 SuperTeams- 7.25kgs with the ICANs and Garmin Vector S dual sided PM pedals- not super light but not a dog, either!

I have LTK 268 for a more than one year now. Done +5000km and everything is just perfect without any problems, really love the frame.

This one looks amazing, doesnt it?

An exact copy of the SL7 geometry but with round 27.2 post instead of the awfully heavy aero posts coming out of china.

Frame is heavy though, 1300g according to reviews. So that T1000 is most likely just bullshit honestly speaking. But still a rounded seatpost compared to the Velobuild 168 model.

Thoughts?

I've built 2 velobuild bikes and had a positive experience in both situations.
I just received my 168 frame from velobuild.

I noticed carbon delamination on the inner downtube. Is this normal or you guys think I've gotten a defective frame? Pics below

Can you poke it ? Is it carbon or a part of the bladder left in ?

feels like carbon? its slightly rigid and bends a bit with a metallic sound. I cant feel any deeper but other than the edges it feels smooth and bonded

Seems most likely to be remnants of the bladder, but looks like rather than try to clean it up, it was sprayed over with paint! Is the frame described as a monocoque or bonded/tube-to-tube type frame?

I just got a GF-002 frame from VB and has some similar stuff in the BB area. Pulled it out and the materia was somewhat transparent but opaque. Prior to reading in the comments above that it could be part of the bladder used to form the frame inside, I had a feeling it could be that. Not concerned personally and kinda accept some of the finishing touches not being there for the discount.

Isn't it more or less exactly the same frame design minus the colors ?
I'm getting a falath pro disc soon so i'll take pictures of the frame I need to get a camera to get inside the frame too.
I wanted to go winspace t1500 but for the price maybe the Falath will be good
