I am considering buying a Boonen edition of the VXRS size Small, but I cannot find any details about the frame and fork. I have heard that the seat tube angle is different and that the top tube is longer on Boonen's actual Times.

My question is: Does anyone know the specs on the Boonen edition of the VXRS?

Is the geometry different from the regular VXRS? Seat tube angle on the Small? Top tube length?
Is it just a VXRS with different paint?

thanks

Is it actually one of Boonens old bikes? If not its probably the std geo with a different paint scheme. Those VXRS's are excellent bikes. I'd love one.

Yes...just a few WC rainbow stripes added. Boonen did ride a custom geo VXS in 2006 edition of Roubaix but his special edition VXRS and those that were mass produced were standard fair VXRS.

This is totally weird

I to think that only Boonen's own bike has custom geo.

Buy it.

Best frame that I have ever owned. Lost it to a car this summer and would buy another tomorrow without a second thought.

There was also a special frame for Boonen for the classics. I recall that it dispensed with the wishbone stays and both seatstays continued to the seat lug...I also believe that the tubing was somewhat beefed up....I can't find a photo online...

Still makes it one of the best carbon frames made. I have a 2007/8 VXRS Worldstar that I cannot justify replacing. I'd have to sell it and nothing floats my boat enough to do that. Problem is I work for a bike manufacturer!
